“Agile” has become a new buzzword at my workplace. There are many sessions going on every day to discuss to make a smooth transition from the current to agile methodology. I just attended a session today which was supposed to give an overview on useful tools for agile development, but ended up somewhere else.
So just out of curiosity, I googled about these tools, JIRA and Greenhopper and here’s what I have gathered so far.
JIRA
Wikipedia defines JIRA as “a proprietary issue-tracking product, developed by Atlassian, commonly used for bug tracking, issue tracking and project management”. The product name JIRA does not stand for any acronym but it is rather a truncated version of “Gojira” which is the Japanese name for Godzilla.
